Mango and banana puree

The gentle flavors of tropical mango and banana are easy on young stomachs, making them a preferred choice for initial weaning. Select mature, organic fruits to create this fresh mixture. If you prefer, you can stick to just mango or banana. Both fruits are excellent to include in vegetable purees for some natural sweetness or to mix into unsweetened yogurt.


1 banana
1 small mango


  1.       Peel both the banana and mango.
  2.       Remove any leftover pulp from the mango seed before discarding it.
  3.       Dice the mango and banana into small pieces.
  4.       Move the fruit into a blender or food processor. Blend the fruit until it reaches a very smooth or slightly chunky consistency, based on your baby’s age and ability to chew.
  5.       If necessary, thin the puree by adding a bit of water, breast milk, or formula.
  6.       Store the puree in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to three days or in the freezer for up to three months.
  7.       Dispense into ice-cube trays for individual portions that are convenient to defrost. There may be some color changes.
